Thabang Mdluli is a young south African who grew up in the South of Johannesburg in a informal settlement called Freedom Park that is now a suburb of Soweto. He parents were street food vendors and through their incomes, managed to put Thabang from school where he matric at Lanseria Vale Secondary School in 2007. Since then he has done done a number of tertiary courses and diplomas in photography, NGO management and community development. His since internship and 3 month course at the Wits Business School in 2016, he has started a number of youth based projects and programmes in Freedom Park Soweto focused in keeping the youth fit with outdoor gyms, fixing broken water and sewage pipes and cleaning streets and wetlands of Soweto in order to keep a healthy environment and community. At present, he is currently ward committee candidate portfolio (environment) daily he recycles with youth on cooperative name Masakhane Youth economic forum.
